The Lord King of Lothbury was Governor of the Bank of England between 2003-2013, overseeing the Bank during the financial crisis of 2007-8. He has endorsed Brexit for delivering “real opportunities” to Britain, and advocated a “hard Brexit” strategy. He will speak on the reasons to be confident in 2017, and the challenges that must be navigated for real prosperity, as outlined in his latest book, The End of Alchemy: Money, Banking and the Future of the Global Economy.
