Effective Government

In considering how any society establishes, enhances and drives prosperity, few things are more critical than effective government. There may not be a single model to what constitutes effective government, but there are a number of universal factors, from viable finances and agile leadership, to local ownership and empowerment of those affected.

Led by James Sproule, our Effective Government programme will examine how government at all levels needs to change in order to provide more accountable, inspiring and cost-effective leadership for Britain, delivering the services the public requires in the 21st century.

This program will analyse how Government can successfully devolve power and authority and adapt to be able to deliver public services in a way that is responsive to the varied and changing demands of the population it serves.
