Economist

Full-time, Permanent

Salary Range: £35,000—£37,000 per annum depending on experience

Position

The Legatum Institute is looking to appoint an Economist to join its Prosperity Index team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide econometric and statistical analysis for creating the Legatum Prosperity Index™ and further developing its utilisation both policy and academic circles.  You will also have a crucial role in improving the current methodology of the Index and in actively contributing to the development of a new Index methodology.

Senior Trusts Officer

4 month part-time contract (with possible extension)

Salary Range: £28,000—£30,000 per annum depending on experience

Closing date: Monday, 21 September 2015

Position

The Legatum Institute is looking to appoint a Senior Trusts Officer for an initial period of four months.

About the Role

Working in a small fundraising team, the Senior Trusts Officer will be responsible for securing grants from trusts and foundations in the UK and abroad in line with the trusts strategy and programmatic priorities. S/he will also provide fundraising administration support such as research, meeting preparation and strategy development as well as attend events.

This role is part-time and can be worked over 3 days or the equivalent time spread over 4 or 5 days.
