Internships


 

The Legatum Institute seeks to engage students, with a proven history of excellence, to take up internships in support the whole range of our work in the Research and Communications departments. Institute internships will provide candidates with valuable professional skills and a knowledgeable perspective by working with Institute staff on research programs, outreach, administrative tasks and event support.

 

Legatum Institute Interns are selected on the following criteria:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, a developed work ethic, academic excellence and good character
  • Knowledge of economics, politics or international affairs through relevant coursework or other experience
  • Affinity for the mission and themes of the Legatum Institute
  • Understanding of the principles behind the signature products of the Legatum Institute including the Legatum Prosperity Index
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • A flexible willingness to assist with a variety of projects as well as support administrative tasks with attention to detail

Please submit a copy of your CV and a Covering Letter describing your qualifications and motivations for applying for an Internship at Legatum Institute. 

Applicants are encouraged to submit a thorough and complete application that illustrates their qualifications, character, and interest in either global affairs and prosperity or the communications and outreach field.

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme at a recognised and well-regarded college or university or must have graduated within the past two years from such an undergraduate or graduate degree programme.
  • Applicants must demonstrate their right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Successful applicants are required to commit to an internship lasting at least one month
