Careers

The Legatum Institute is constantly looking for new talent to add to its dedicated team of researchers, scholars and operational personnel. Before checking for current vacancies, we encourage you to read the following information to understand a little more about working at the Institute. Other than our internship program (and unless otherwise stated), all roles at the Legatum Institute are offered on a permanent basis.

Working at the Institute

Regardless of the level of seniority, all employees of the Legatum Institute  are people of humility, integrity, and respect. We believe that the most valuable thing in life is not 'what we get' but 'who we become'. We are not simply looking to recruit the best qualified candidates, rather we are looking to recruit people who understand and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of others as well as themselves.

Researcher / Scholar

The researchers and scholars at the Institute are directly responsible for the intellectual output and scholarly literature that is produced.

All research staff will have a proven track record in academia, policy making or in a think-tank/NGO. Researchers and scholars are often responsible for managing and expanding their own areas of research that will include overseeing the production of reports, writing insightful media articles and participating projects and events to expand and showcase that research.

Operations / Communications

The Operations and Communications teams provide exceptional business support, communications strategies and infrastructure for the Institute and its programmes.

Together they are responsible for everything that makes the Institute work from day to day  and for and maximising the impact of the research and work of the Institute.  This encompasses finance, events, PR, marketing, human resources, project administration, IT support, design, reception, and maintenance of the Institute’s offices.
